My condo closed escrow after being on the market only two weeks. I
am thrilled with the excellent service I received at your office &
especially from Steven Roth. Simply put, he is extraordinary! Once
again, thank you very much for referring him to me. You made an
impeccable choice!
Given the sluggish economy, I was plenty concerned about selling my
condo. I knew it was important for me to find an exceptional agent.
My plan was to select from at least five, highly recommended
realtors. Steve was my third interview. After meeting with him, my
search was complete.
Cool, calm, and collected, Steve is the consummate professional. His
friendly, easy going personality, belies his wisdom & expertise. He
listened attentively to my needs, carefully analyzed the market, &
adroitly guided the sale. Always prepared, organized, patient, &
consistent, he handled every situation masterfully & with integrity.
He never hesitated to go the extra mile to complete the numerous
tasks involved with selling.
For example, while reading the listing agreement, I discovered it put
me to sleep. I told Steve I could not sign, unless I read &
understood everything. Without even the slightest pause, he
responded, "I don't want you to sign anything you don't understand."
He proceeded to summarize the first paragraph & then read it aloud,
every word. Next, he asked if I had any questions. He did this for
the entire contract (& every other paper I needed to sign during the
selling process). Tedious for sure, Steve made it seem like this
was no big deal. Incidentally, most of the time, he was reading
papers upside down!
Always prompt, efficient, & a hard worker, Steve makes things happen
quickly. The morning after I signed the listing agreement, he
brought a car full of plants, a basket of booties, a table, & chairs
to my previously, barren condo. He arranged to have beautiful
photographs taken & put together a terrific listing. I was in the
MLS that night.
Often times, over the course of a project, a person's energy & focus
will decline; not Steve's. This experienced pro, skillfully managed
all of the negotiations & last minute surprises, perfectly. I cannot
imagine anyone doing a better job than Steve. Working with him was a
joy. He is a rare gem. I will continue singing his praises & refer
others to him at every opportunity.

I have just closed on my new home in Carmel Valley. The real estate agent I have been working with has been Steve Roth. I very rarely write letters like this, but Steve's performance throughout the whole process has been excellent. His knowledge of the area is outstanding and his follow up on issues or questions was superb. I even received comments from both the lender and escrow officer how "on top of things" Steve was.
